Wyandot Sports Hall of Fame Eligibility

 

 

The Wyandot Sports Hall of Fame was created to honor those with ties to Wyandot County, and eligibility requirements were created to reflect that.

 

Specific eligibility requirements are listed in the WSHF bylaws and that section is listed below.

 

Basically, any potential inductee must have some tie to the county by having lived in the county or attended school in the county at some point. Athletic contributions do not have to have been made within the county.

 

If you know of a worthy candidate who meets the eligibility requirements, please help us by nominating them.

 

 

WYANDOT SPORTS HALL OF FAME

 

ELIGIBILITY

A.  Any individual team or organization must meet at least one of the following requirements to be considered for nomination and induction.

1. Born in Wyandot County;

2. Resident of Wyandot County, who has made a contribution to athletics at a city, county, state, national or international level – directly or indirectly – as an athlete, coach, official, administrator or team;

3. Non-resident of Wyandot County, who or which has made a contribution to athletics within Wyandot County at a city, county, state, national or international level – directly or indirectly – as an athlete, coach, official, administrator or team;

4. Performed meritorious service for athletics in Wyandot County.

B.  The Wyandot Sports Hall of Fame’s criteria committee will be responsible for making any change in eligibility requirements on approval of a ¾ vote by the board.
