Wyandot Sports Hall of Fame

The Wyandot Sports Hall of Fame held its fourth annual banquet at 6 p.m. April 19, 2014 in the Masters’ Building on the Wyandot County Fairgrounds, Upper Sandusky.

1953-54 Sycamore baseball team

Six individuals and one team were inducted into the fourth class of the Hall of Fame and receive plaques in honor of their accomplishments. In addition, All-Ohio athletes from Carey, Mohawk, Riverdale, Upper Sandusky and Wynford high schools will be honored and 10 scholarships were awarded.

Guests were treated to a catered meal and had the opportunity to congratulate the honorees for what they have done for Wyandot County sports during their lives. Programs also were provided, highlighting the accomplishments of each inductee.
